Remove payment methods from your Google Account

You can remove any payment methods at any time.

Remove a payment method

1. Sign in to payments.google.com with your Google Account.
2. On the left side of the page, click Payment methods.
3. Find the payment method you want to remove.
4. Click Remove > Yes, remove it.

Note: Play Balance and Google Wallet Balances can't be removed from your account. You can either spend the money in your balance, or transfer your Google Wallet Balance to your bank account. 

Trouble removing a credit or debit card

If you have any active subscriptions, you can't remove the payment method that you use to pay for them.
To fix this:

1. Sign in to payments.google.com with your Google Account.
2. On the left side of the page, click Bills and accounts.
3. Select the subscription.
4. In the "Pay with" drop-down menu, select a different payment method.
5. On the left side of the page, click Payment methods and try removing the payment method again.
