Coinbase is a digital assets exchanging company that lets its users to exchange virtual currency like bitcoin and Ethereum. The website lets its user to create or edit account, connect your bank account with the coinbase to withdraw or deposit funds and buy or exchange virtual currency.

How To Remove Coinbase Account

Currently there are two ways to delete your account from Coinbase website which is given below:-

Remove Your Account through Website

1. Go to the following url “https://www.coinbase.com/” and log-in to your account.
2. Once you log-in to your account click on your username which is given at the top right section then a drop down menu will appeared.
3. On Drop Down Menu click on SETTINGS link.
4. On Settings page scroll down to section Close Account and click on button CLOSE ACCOUNT.
5. Once you click on close account button a pop-up message will appear for the confirmation to delete your account enter your PASSWORD and click on CLOSE ACCOUNT button.
6. Now scroll down on the right side and click on the button CLOSE MY ACCOUNT to permanently delete your account with your bitcoin wallet.

Remove Your Account by Sending Mail

1. Open your registered email account and compose a new mail.
2. Enter the following email address support@coinbase.com
3. On Subject enter the line “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
