How to Remove a Down dating account

Down is a popular dating app. But when you’re done meeting people for a while, you might be considering to close your account. In that case: Don’t look further, because I’m about to explain how you can do that in the Settings of your profile.

I’ll show you below with pictures how I managed to remove my profile using the iPhone app (but steps remain the same for the Android app):
 1  Open the Down dating app
 2  Click on the 3 lines in the upper left corner

 3  Choose ‘Settings’
 4  Scroll down the settings page to the bottom, where you will see: ‘Delete account :(‘

 5  Confirm that you’re sure by hitting ‘Delete :(‘
 6  Final step: Hit ‘Log out’
 ?  Result: Your account has been deleted

You’re now free to delete the app from your iOs or Android device.

OR
To delete your account for real, navigate to the Settings pane, select App Settings, scroll down all the way to the bottom, and select Delete Account. You'll then see a message that says "Account successfully deleted" if it worked.
