CVS is an online pharmacy that’s always open. But if you want to close your account, you’ll find out that it’s not that easy. The reason: After several minutes of searching in the settings and privacy policy without finding an answer, I contacted the customer service on Twitter. They explained that people who want to close their account, can only do that by phone.
So I’ll show you below the result of my quest to delete my CVS pharmacy account:
1 Call CVS on customer relations at 800-SHOP-CVS (inside U.S.) and request them to remove your account
Or at least, that’s the clear answer I received from their customer care team on Twitter when I asked them to remove my account. So asking them online to close your account won’t help, you’ll need to pick up your phone.
They might be asking you on the phone why you want to remove the account (e.g. because you’re simply not using it anymore) and run an identity check on you. After that, they can close the account for you.
