Remove Mastodon Account

Mastodon is an online social media website that just work similar to Twitter in which users share their thoughts. The website lets its users to create or edit account information, upload your picture, browse or search through the list of online posts shared by users, send your thoughts in the form of a post or share links and other media content such as Video or Audio Files. 

How To Remove Mastodon Account

Currently, there is only one way to delete your account from the Mastodon website which is given below:-

Remove Your Account through Website

  1. Browse the website URL “https://mastodon.social” and sign-in with your account.
  2. Once you sign-in to your account go to the profile SETTINGS page and then click on Security section or just browse through this URL “https://mastodon.social/auth/edit” and then click on Security.
  3. Once you are in the security page scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the section REMOVE Account. On Delete, Account section click on the link Proceed Here and follow step by step procedure to delete your account.
