 Delicious is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks. The site was founded by Joshua Schachter and Peter Gadjokov in 2003 and acquired by Yahoo in 2005. By the end of 2008, the service claimed more than 5.3 million users and 180 million unique bookmarked URLs.Yahoo sold Delicious to AVOS Systems in April 2011, and the site relaunched in a "back to beta" state on September 27 that year. In May 2014, AVOS sold the site to Science Inc. In January 2016 Delicious Media, a new alliance, reported it had assumed control of the service

How to Remove Delicious account
If you want to remove your account on Delicious, a social bookmarking service, you’ll see in this manual that you can easily do that in the Settings of your account.
How to Remove Delicious account

•  1  Go to https://delicious.com and log in by entering your username and password.
•  2  Select Settings in the left menu
•  3  Choodelete delicious account 2se the Account tab
•  4  Look for the Deactivate account link
• It’s at the bottom of the Settings page.
•  5  Hit ‘Yes, deactivate my account’

after typing in your password.

You’ll be signed out automatically and your account has been removed.

You can check if the cancellation was correct by trying to login again => It will say: ‘Incorrect username or password’
