How do I unregister or delete my account?

Android Users, see information here. iOS users, continue below.

FIRST leave all your group conversations. 

1. Go into each group conversation
2. Tap on the three horizontal dots
3. Choose Leave

THEN unregister by

• Webpage
• iOS App*

1. Opening Signal
2. Tapping on the settings wheel in the top left corner
3. Tapping on the red "Delete Account" button

• Android App

*Unregistering by App is recommended as it clears your message history.  Uninstalling Signal will also clear your message history.
