How to Remove a BlackPlanet Account 

BlackPlanet is a social networking website which targets the African-American community. After creating a profile, its users can participate in various online activities such as looking for a job, searching for a soul mate on the dating section of the site or participating in discussions in an online forum. If do not wish to participate in BlackPlanet's activities anymore, you can cancel your account in just a few steps.

• Open your web browser and visit the BlackPlanet homepage (see Resources).
  
• Log in to the site using your user name and password and click on the "Log in" button.
  
• Click on "My account" at the top of the page.
  
• Click on the "Close account" tab and select a reason for deleting your BlackPlanet account.
  
• Click on "Close account" to permanently delete your BlackPlanet account.
