Imo is a social media app that lets its user to create or edit profile, browse through other members profile, let their user send and receive text messages and instant messages or video call to each other for free of cost. I have recently received mail from our website readers that they want to delete their account from Imo website.

How To Remove Imo Account

There are two methods to delete your account from Imo website which are given below :-

Remove Your Account Through App

1. First Login and open your IMO app.
2. Click on THREE DOTS LINE given at menu section left to search box.
3. Once you click on three dot line click on GEAR ICON given at right menu section.
4. Now you will be redirected to settings page on settings click on button REMOVE IMO ACCOUNT.
5. On delete account page enter your phone number and click on REMOVE button given at top right side next to delete account title.
6. After you click on delete button a pop-up icon will appear asking your confirmation to remove your account click on button YES, REMOVE to delete your account.
7. Now uninstall the app to permanently delete your account

Remove Your Account By Sending Email

1. Open your registered email account and compose a new mail.
2. Enter the following email address feedback@imo.com
3. On Subject enter the line “REQUEST TO REMOVE MY ACCOUNT”.
4. Now write a mail to remove your account sample given here and click send.

This process may take upto 24 to 72 hours to delete your profile from the database.
