Remove Etsy Account

Etsy is an e-commerce website that lets its users to sell or purchase handmade and vintage products. The website lets its user to create or edit account information, browse through various products, purchase the product via credit card and paypal, add to favourite or ask question related to product and post comment related to the item you purchase.

How To Remove Etsy Account

Currently there are two ways to delete your account from the website which is given below :-

Remove Your Account through Website

1. Go through url “https://www.etsy.com” and log-in to your account.
2. After you log-in to your account click on your PROFILE PIC which is given at top right section and below the profile pic the text mentioned YOU.
3. Once you click on Profile Pic a drop down menu will appear then click on link ACCOUNT SETTINGS.
4. On Account Settings page scroll down to section Close Your Account and then click on button CLOSE ACCOUNT.
5. Once you click on Close Account page a pop-up window will appear Enter your password and then click on CLOSE ACCOUNT to delete your account.

Remove Your Account By Sending Form

1. Open your registered email account and compose a new mail.
2. Enter the following email address legal@etsy.com
3. On Subject enter the line “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
4. Now write a mail to delete your account sample given here and click send.
