Mixi is primarily for Japanese. Mixi offers options to meeting new people, send and receive messages, writing in a diary, read and comment on others' diaries, organize and join communities and invite their friends. The site requires users to own a Japanese cell phone which bars anyone who is not or has not been a resident of Japan.

lease follow the instructions to remove the toolbar from Google chrome and Firefox.

Google Chrome:

1. Launch the browser and open the menu by clicking Alt+F keys simultaneously.
2. Click on Tools and then on Extensions.
3. In the list of extensions find the one you want to delete, click on the trash icon placed on the right and select Remove.
4. From the menu on the left select Settings.
5. Under On Startup click on Set pages. Remove the unwanted ones and Add new page.
6. Click OK and then move to the Appearance.
7. Click on Change and replace the unwanted home page.
8. Go back to the Settings menu and navigate to Search.
9. Click on Manage search engines.
10. Move the cursor over the preferred search engine and select Make Default.
11. Now move to the unwanted search engine and click “x” next to it. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+H keys to open the Help menu.
2. Click on Troubleshooting Information.
3. Now click on the Reset Firefox button placed on your right.
4. As a new windows pops up – click Reset once again and complete the procedure by clicking on Finish.
